Welcome to the Polliwagen Archive.  This is an attempt to preserve all the information that we can about the Polliwagen kit/scratchbuilt airplane.  The 'Polli' was designed in the late 1970's amidst many other designs that still live on today.  The Rand-Robinson KR series comes to mind, as do the Rutan designs that we are all familiar with.  Unfortunately the Polliwagen never quite made it into that league, most likely due to some unfortunate accidents that weren't really the fault of the plane. 

    Within this site you will find an ever-growing collection of information about the Polliwagen. From plans to builders newsletters, photos, and whatever else can be found about the plane.  In case you haven't heard about it, there is a Yahoo group devoted to the Polliwagen.  Go to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Polliwagen/ and join, there are still plenty of people with Polli's that you can learn from.

A few things about this site.  First off, I can not be held responsible for the information on this site.  I do not endorse any modifications or methods for building this plane.  Secondly, this information is for your personal use, it is not intended for distribution or resale as some unscrupulous individuals have done on Ebay.  I am digitally watermarking the files so I will know if they have been bundled on one of these rip-off CD collections.  My final note is about file formats.  I have chosen to distribute most of the documentation in PDF format.  All it requires is a free reader, available at http://www.adobe.com .  No need to purchase anything... Except for some fiberglass, resin, and an engine!
